renu + par || see you at the wedding

I remember the day we met Renu and Par at the Fraser Heights Starbucks a year ago. They tried so hard to prepare us for what would be the largest wedding we’ve ever filmed and warn us of all of the cultural differences and traditions. We, however, were not worried in the least. We were so excited to film something so unique and different from what we normal film and they gave us license to do it our way!

Not only did we fall for this couple the second we met them, but Par and Mac formed this weird (editors note: Awesome!) bond over music (they have extremely similar taste) and emailed each other often which made Mac the most excited I think I’ve seen him to shoot a wedding.

In addition to filming Renu and Par’s wedding day, we were able to shoot a couple of ceremonies in the days leading up to their wedding and include them in their film as well. With those ceremonies combined with the 3 ceremonies held on the day and the reception, we had over double the usual amount of footage to work with which made editing a little daunting at first, but in the end super rewarding.

Thank you Renu and Par for not only allowing us to be a part of your day, but also for allowing us to take our own approach to creating your film. We had so much fun getting to know you both and we can’t wait to hang out with you both again soon! Congratulations!

P.S. Renu – Mac and I both agreed that you reminded us of Princess Jasmine on your wedding day :) SO beautiful (Par you looked great too)

We had the pleasure of filming along side of the incredible Pardeep Singh! This guy is a machine! Can’t wait to work with him again.

Also, the incredible Jenna Smith of Revel Events was an absolute joy to have at the wedding. She made sure everything went according to plan and made our life SO much easier and fun!
