A while back Jamie Delaine asked me to cover a bridal fashion shoot that she had setup. It was so much fun, if you haven’t seen it check it out here. Once Jamie and I blogged the video I received a few interesting emails. One of which was a request to shoot a promotional video for the extremely talented photographer that is Leslie Brown. She told me she would be in Vancouver in June, so we setup a time to meet and had a great time walking through Yaletown getting some shots. Below is the finished promotional video.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of working with Jen Williams. We spent the day downtown filming for a promo video and it was an absolute blast! Jen Williams is a wedding and boudoir photographer out of Edmonton but soon her and her husband Chad are going to make the move to Vancouver! Check out her website here! A few weeks ago I got a call from my friend Jamie Delaine about a project. She had been planning a fashion shoot with Bisou Bridal and invited me to come and film it! She gave me the low down of how there were going to be 4 models and they’d be modelling beautiful dresses from Bisou Bridal and rocking some incredible flower arrangements by Balconi Floral. Better yet, she asked my beautiful girlfriend Erin to be one of the models! Needless to say I was in.

So 2 weeks ago we arrived downtown at the Bisou Bridal shop at the crack of 7am to begin hair and makeup. Everyone clicked right away and were friends in no time. The first location was at the Sutton Place Hotel. Jamie had reserved a beautiful ballroom for us to shoot in and it was incredible. We had such a fun time and all of the models looked stunning! Then the inevitable Vancouver winter rain arrived so for an outdoor location we headed for under the burrard street bridge. The clouds covering offered some really beautiful light and it turned out great. Then we ended the day back at Bisou Bridal to get some shots inside the store. As I mentioned in the last blog post, I received my film school education this last year at Vancouver Film School. I met a lot of great people and made some life long friendships. One of the guys I was closest with over the year was Joshua. We had a chance to work on a ton of film projects together and had a lot of fun hanging out. Joshua came to Vancouver all the way from Texas and before he left Texas he got engaged to his beautiful fiance Bonny Jo. I had the pleasure of meeting Bonny when she came to visit Joshua. I couldn’t believe how similar these two were. Seriously… incredibly similar. They’d laugh at the same jokes, finish each others sentences, and even used the same slang.

Over my year with Joshua, we toyed around with the idea of me coming out to his wedding next april. We talked about it lightly for a while but as the year went on we decided to make it happen. So next april I’m flying out to film Joshua and Bonny’s wedding and I couldn’t be more pumped! Recently they went out with their photographer and did an engagement shoot. They have some really awesome pictures by the wonderful Tara Swain. Below are a couple of photos but see the rest of them on her blog here.
